While you are here, don't forget to take in some of the excellent fishing opportunities that NW Montana has to offer. Species vary here, everything from Northern Pike and Perch, to 6 different trout species along with Bass and Whitefish. You are almost sure to catch something. Please look over a copy of the Montana Fishing Regulations for 2008 so you are familiar with all the rules. If you aren't sure of a certain type of trout that you catch it is best to throw it back.

We do have Bull Trout in this area which is a threatened species under the Endangered Species List and is illegal to possess. Other than Bull Trout, pretty much everything is fair game and very tasty. So good luck. We strive to keep this area beautiful, so please don't leave anything that doesn't belong out in nature.
